The Laker Gameby ~Omicheese

For years, I have been threatening to draw this picture, and I've finally followed through. XD

Ever since I first saw Saiyuki and they made such a big deal about Sanzo having blonde hair and purple eyes, I've claimed that he was a LA Lakers fan. Gold and purple being Lakers colors, I was very assured of this, while all my friends thought I was crazy.

When I saw Getbackers, years later, and witnessed Kagami, with his purple eyes and blonde hair, I knew that he was, most certainly, a Laker fan as well. Around this time, I thought, "I should draw a picture of Sanzo and Kagami at a Laker game!" But I never did.

Finally, just about a week or two ago, I saw Ouran High School Host Club. There was Tamaki, with his blonde hair and purple eyes, and, suddenly, there was my picture idea. I knew, of course, that Tamaki had to go to my Laker game, but I figured Sanzo'd hate his guts, and I didn't know what to do with Kagami but I figured I could get something, and here we are.

Technical notes: This was my first time drawing either Tamaki or Sanzo, but I had drawn Kagami before. Tamaki is wearing Kobe Bryant's old away jersey, number 8, from back when Kobe was tolerable. Sanzo is wearing Shaqile O'Neal's Sunday-White jersey, number 34. Kagami is wearing Magic Johnson's home jersey, number 32. Amusingly enough, only one of these people sti8ll plays for the Lakers, and nobody is still wearing the exact number shown (Magic retired, Shaq got traded but kept the number, and Kobe changed numbers for an unknown reason.)

In order to appreciate this picture fully, I think you have to be me. I highly doubt anyone will consider this as funny as I do.

yeah, Kagami does seem like a Lakers supporter.. yellow and purple! I like this!

hahahah another lakers fan here XD this picture is sooo cute XD yes and ive known about the realtionship between shaq and kobe; truly tragic and yet very dramatic....

yup...too bad the lakers lost to the celtics this year...but still kevin garnett deserves it..that doesnt mean i dont support the Lakers. they will always be our favorite team XD but personally i like Miami Heat, Orlando Magic, Houston ROckets and Phoenix Suns XD

I haven't watched basketball very attentively lately. ._. I kind of really miss it. My favorite team has always been the Lakers, but my favorite player is Dirk Nowitzki.
